It is, after all, home to some of the most exceptionally handsome faces on the planet. But which of the many dashing gentlemen in Hollywood is the most handsome? The truth is, it’s pretty tough to choose. There are so many factors that come into play. Plus, every single one of us has a different palate when it comes to the men (or women) we’re attracted to. We must say, though, that there are men who stand out among the rest. Not because they’re superior when it comes to looks, but because their degree of popularity has made them more visible to a larger set of audience. It may be because they’re more well-connected within the industry, or because they’re given more mainstream projects and exposures. Either way, these men have been successful in jumping from the big screen and into our hearts. Here are some of the most dashing leading men in Hollywood today.

JOSEPH MORGAN

Are you a big fan of vampires? If yes, then you’re probably already in love with British actor Joseph Morgan. The actor melted millions of hearts when he took on the role of Klaus Mikelson in the hit CW series The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off, The Originals. After Joseph appeared on the first series, fans were quick to notice his charm and good looks. Not long after his debut on the show, Joseph gained quite a large fan following. But before scoring his breakout role in The CW series, Joseph earned small acting credits in shows like Hex, The Line of Beauty, Mansfield Park, and more. Since then, the actor has made tremendous strides in his career. Today, he has one People’s Choice Award and millions of swooning hearts to his name.

CHRIS PINE

Chris Pine is definitely one of the OG heartthrobs in Hollywood. He made his commercial film debut in the 2004 film The Princess Diaries: The Royal Engagement, where he starred opposite Anne Hathaway. Although his role in the film was, to some degree, a villain, it did not stop fans from swooning over him. After appearing as the mischievous Lord Devereaux in the film, Chris quickly gained a solid fan base. You can’t blame them, though. Those piercing blue eyes are simply irresistible! Even at the age of 40, Chris continues to make people fall in love. Most recently, he mesmerized fans once again when he starred opposite Gal Gadot in the live-action adaptation of DC’s Wonder Woman. We’ll see him again soon when he and Gal return for the second installment of the hit superhero movie.

NOAH CENTINEO

There’s a new boy next door, and his name is Noah Centineo. The American actor first caught everyone’s attention when he starred as Peter Kavinsky in the highly-anticipated Netflix film, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. After portraying everyone’s dream guy in the film, Noah has now evolved into a legitimate Hollywood heartthrob. He is also fast becoming everyone’s favorite internet boyfriend. However, Noah is more than just a pretty face. He may be banking on his good looks for the most part, but don’t let that trick you into thinking that he is not 100% devoted to his craft. Off-screen, the actor works hard to not only be a better actor but also to live up to his moral responsibility as a celebrity. Isn’t that sweet? We can surely tell that Noah has a bright future ahead of him, and we can’t wait to see him earn more acting credits.

PATRICK DEMPSEY

Let’s move on to Mr. McDreamy himself, Patrick Dempsey. Patrick has been around in the industry since the 1980s, but it was not until he starred as Dr. Derek Shepherd in the long-running TV drama Grey’s Anatomy that people noticed his charm and good looks. He starred as the dreamy doctor for eleven seasons but still managed to squeeze in some other acting credits along the way. Patrick surely looks like a Disney prince, and luckily, he got the opportunity to be one when he was hired to play the role of Robert Philipp, a struggling New York City dad who rescues a wandering princess in the Disney film Enchanted. Patrick is already 54 years old, but he sure doesn’t look a day older than 30.

KEANU REEVES

At 56 years old, Canadian actor Keanu Reeves is still stealing hearts left and right. Keanu first captured everyone’s attention back when he was only 22 years old in the 1986 film Youngblood. Since then, his career has been growing steadily with several acting credits, both major and minor. However, it was his role as Neo in the sci-fi classic The Matrix that shot Keanu into Hollywood superstardom. But apart from his soft-boy charm and stellar acting chops, it’s Keanu’s humility and compassion that makes him stand out even more. Unlike most celebrities, Keanu likes to ditch the glamorous side of Hollywood and enjoy a simpler way of life. Ugh! He’s just like us. He’s even seen on occasions taking the subway instead of the usual privately chauffeured cars most celebrities take. He’s definitely a true gentleman, and we totally get the hype now!

KJ APA

Netflix’s Riverdale has given birth to a whole new generation of dashing male celebrities, including KJ Apa. If you don’t know, Riverdale is based on the best-selling Archie comics that have been popular since the 1940s, and in the live-action series, Kiwi actor KJ Apa takes center stage as Archie Andrews. Since it premiered in 2017, the series has been a staple in every teenager’s Netflix watchlist. We’re sure KJ’s charm and good looks played a big part in ferrying the series into fame, but the young actor also has a lot to offer acting and music-wise. Before becoming the Hollywood heartthrob that he is today, KJ was already an up-and-coming star in New Zealand with several acting credits to his name. He is also musically inclined and has been actively working on his musical career alongside his acting career. He’s definitely the whole package, no wonder everyone’s swooning over him.

JACOB ELORDI

Another young Netflix alumnus on our list is Kissing Booth’s Jacob Elordi. This 6’5” sweetheart first appeared as an extra in the film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, where he did not receive any acting credit. Fortunately, the hunky Australian was able to nab bigger roles first in The Kissing Booth series, followed by HBO’s Euphoria. Outside of acting, Jacob likes to focus his attention on raising awareness about certain social issues. Back in 2018, the actor protested against gun laws in the March for Our Lives Protest and has also spoken out against racism in support of the Black Lives Matter Movement. We can surely say that Jacob is using his platform of fame and influence for all the right reasons, and if that doesn’t make him worth crushing on, then I don’t know what will.

TOM HIDDLESTON

Out of all the villains to come out of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, Tom Hiddleston has got to be the most successful. You would think that playing a mischievous villain would make people hate Tom or his character Loki to their guts, but that couldn’t be more wrong! In fact, Tom Hiddleston made it to the top of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors because of his flawless portrayal of the god of mischief. Behind the cameras, however, Tom is nothing but sweet and gentlemanly, a trait that seemed to have melted millions of hearts around the world. To top everything off, Tom is also quite the feminist. That’s right, this fine gentleman has been campaigning for gender equality and has even participated in the “He For She” campaign. We sure hope he gets more acting credits in the future because we just can’t get enough of him.

ORLANDO BLOOM

It’s a bummer that we don’t see much of Orlando Bloom today than we did in the early 2000s. However, despite being more lowkey these past few years, we still can’t help but swoon over his charming good looks and sheer talent. Orlando first became an icon when he donned the silvery blonde hair and pointy elf ears of Legolas in the film adaptation of the J.R.R. Tolkien classic, The Lord of the Rings. He followed this role with another major acting credit in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. In between those major projects, Orlando also starred in other movies like Elizabethtown, Ned Kelly, New York I Love You, and so much more. He continues to expand his acting portfolio today and has a couple of exciting projects up ahead. Oh, and he also remains to be one of Hollywood’s most swoon-worthy leading men!

LEONARDO DI CAPRIO

There may be several new leading men in Hollywood today, but Leonardo De Caprio still reigns supreme over everyone else. For years, he has held a spot on the upper-tier of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors, and for a good reason! Not only is he easy on the eyes and an outstanding actor, but he is also a passionate advocate for climate change. For much of his career, Leo has supported several charity groups that seek to improve the health and well-being of the environment. In 1998, Leo launched his foundation called The Leonardo Decaprio foundation, whose mission is to “build climate resiliency, protect vulnerable wildlife, and restore balance to threatened ecosystems and communities.” Since starting his foundation, Leo was able to expand his impact by a large degree. Today, the actor continues to campaign for clean energy and sustainable practices.

THEO JAMES

British actor Theo James first came under our radar when he starred as Tobias “Four” Eaton in the film adaptation of the young adult book, Divergent. His masculine and mysterious character quickly captured the attention of many and thus catapulting Theo into Hollywood superstardom. But did you know that aside from being an actor, Theo is also a talented musician? As it turns out, Theo is also quite the crooner. He may not have a full-blown music career as of the moment, but he sure shows some promise. Outside of acting and filmmaking, Theo also works as a brand endorser. Recently, he signed a contract with Hugo Boss making him the latest face of the brand. Today, the actor’s career is progressing at a steady degree, and we’re looking forward to seeing more of him in the future.

JENSEN ACKLES

Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles made his way into our hearts not only because of his inherent good looks but also because of his quirky and boyish antics. Thanks to his young fans and the internet, Jensen’s popularity grew to a massive degree. Today, he is considered to be one of the OG internet sensations. But in addition to being charming and funny, Jensen is also a versatile actor and filmmaker. He can do heavy just as much as comedy, and he can also take the lead as a director. In fact, Jensen was able to direct six Supernatural episodes from 2010-2015. Given his talent and versatility, we wouldn’t be surprised if one day we see him up on the podium of the Academy Awards.

When it comes to making the ladies laugh, Chris Pratt has got it all nailed down. He first rose to prominence in the hit TV sitcom Parks and Recreations, where he starred alongside legendary comedians like Aubrey Plaza, Amy Poehler, and Adam Scott. Since then, Chris has managed to earn a considerable amount of acting credits from films like Jennifer’s Body, Wanted, The Five Year Engagement, and Delivery Man. His film breakout role came when he was hired to play Star-lord in Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy. Another major role fell on his lap when he was given the role of Owen Grady in the 2015 installment of the hit film series Jurassic Park. It was a career-defining year for Chris, and we’re glad that he is now an official Avenger cause that means will see more of him in the future.

PAUL RUDD

Next, we have Ant-Man himself, Paul Rudd. Paul initially started his career as a comedian with roles in films like Clueless, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and This Is 40. Although we still love Paul for his comedy antics, we can’t help but swoon over his new superhero image. Couple that with his piercing blue eyes, and you have yourself a heartthrob. However, the actor is officially off the market. Paul has been happily married for 17 years now and has been building a beautiful family with his wife, Julie Yaeger. Overall, we’re glad that Paul has gained a renewed sense of fame, and with his Marvel-grade paycheck, we bet he never has to worry about personal loans for the rest of his life.

NICK JONAS

Nick Jonas was not always the most in-demand Jonas brother, as that credit belonged to his older brother Joe. But the younger member of the trio has definitely succeeded in taking the spotlight in recent years. After reinventing his style of music, Nick Jonas started to gain a larger fan following, which quickly cemented him unto Hollywood’s most in-demand singers. He’s been reinventing his image too! Since striking out on his own, the younger Jonas has ditched his iconic teenage curls in exchange for a more manly sleeked back hairstyle, which, by the way, works very well with the ladies. However, much to every fan’s dismay, the singer is now off the market after marrying Indian actress Priyanka Chopra in an elaborate Indian ceremony held in Priyanka’s native country. All is well, though. We can still enjoy Nick and his music. But ladies, he’s for your eyes only!

SEBASTIAN STAN

Not a lot of people know this, but Sebastian Stan once thought about quitting Hollywood for good. After his success from the Gossip Girl series, the Romanian-born actor struggled to nail down a successful role for years. That was until he was hired to portray Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier in Marvel’s Captain America. From there, all Sebastian’s got to do is sit back and let the internet do its job. Thanks to Sebastian’s flawless acting and irresistible good looks, he was able to amass a large degree of internet following. Today, Sebastian is among the internet’s favorite celebrity crushes, and we most certainly do not blame them. Just look at his stunning blue eyes and a charming smile! If that’s not worthy of your attention, then I don’t know what is.

JAKE GYLLENHAAL

There is simply no way to resist Jake Gyllenhaal’s charm! The actor is already approaching his 40s, but he still looks as young as he did way back in the 1990s. Maybe that’s why a lot of ladies are still swooning over him. But apart from having the boy-next-door charm, Jake has also proven himself to be an outstanding actor. Throughout his career, Jake has earned a lot of major acting credits as well as prestigious awards. Because of that, Chadwick worked hard to live up to the moral responsibilities that came along with his newfound fame. And to be honest, that made him all the more attractive. But before donning the iconic Black Panther suit, Chadwick was already on his way to having a successful acting career. After finishing his degree in arts and filmmaking from Howard University, Chadwick quickly tried his luck in Hollywood. At the start of his acting career, Chadwick was often hired to play real-life characters in films like 42, Marshall, and Get On Up. Although his career was short-lived, his legacy will carry on forever.

ROBERT DOWNEY JR.

Let’s be honest; the Marvel Cinematic Universe would not be what it is today without the genius that Robert Downey Jr. brought to his character, Iron Man. However, the actor almost did not land the role simply because he was not nearly as famous as the other candidates competing for the job. Good thing he was able to prove himself cause it would’ve been hard to imagine Iron Man being portrayed by someone other than Robert Downey Jr. But apart from fame and influence, the role also gave Robert a great deal of wealth, which he surely spent on some great investments. Today, RDJ is one of the most respected actors in Hollywood and one of the most dashing men as well.

JOHNNY DEPP

There is no better way to describe Johnny Depp except as an icon. Just one look at his vast portfolio of acting credits, and you’ll realize how wide his acting range is. From playing someone with scissors for hands to portraying an eccentric pirate on the hunt for mythical treasures, you name it, and Johnny Depp will do it. It also helps that he’s very easy on the eyes. Just take a look at pictures of him when he was younger, and you’d know what we’re talking about. And even at the age of 57, Johnny still continues to capture our hearts. Good thing he’s still very active in his career cause we’re looking to seeing more of him on the big screen!
